Farnsworth House by Mies van der Rohe
If you like mid-century or modern architecture, then at some point in time you have seen photos of the Farnsworth House. And probably drooled. But this is not a photo, yet instead a computer rendering by Peter Guthrie. Suffice to say I am blown away. I’ve seen amazing renderings before with 3DSMax and Vray, but these are unbelievable.

The first four things that I notice in this space are its unbelievable use of:
Minimalism
Intricacy
Warmth
Depth
The first modern theater space I had ever seen was at my community college, the College of Lake County.  I wouldn’t say that it was anything impressive, but perhaps my favorite part of the space was its use of warmth in its space.  Where most “classic” theater designs seem to express majesty, this warmth made me feel very close to the performers in a relatively large theater.
This is not my community college theater.  However this plays with all of those emotions that were stirred in that experience and then actually exceeds them.
